About The Event
Our second installment of IT CAME FROM THE CLOSET!: OMEN presents...THE BLOB (1988), paired with Carrow Nerby's essay, Indescribable, which examines two late 80's horror films, The Blob (1988) and Society (1989). Join us for drinks and a film screening with short intro. After, we'll continue to hang out and have an informal post-show discussion.

Hosted by OMEN and inspired by the collection of essays, It Came From the Closet: Queer Reflections on Horror , the series focuses on horror movies through a queer lens. From October until March 2024, we'll be screening and discussing a new film and companion essay on the 13th of every month. More about the series here.
