ABOUT STRANGER DAYS

Brooklyn-bred artist Adam O’Farrill has been heralded as “among the the leading trumpeters in jazz- and perhaps the music’s next major improviser.” (The New York Times). In 2021, Adam released his third album, Visions of Your Other (Biophilia Records), with his quartet, Stranger Days. The album was listed as one of the best albums of 2021 by The New York Times, won the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik, and received raving reviews from the Wall Street Journal. Stranger Days is Adam O’Farrill (trumpet), Xavier Del Castillo (tenor sax), Walter Stinson (bass), and Zack O’Farrill (drums).

ABOUT sinonó

sinonó is a brief submergence, a string of choices, a container for the communion of rigor & failure. This poemsong trio features Isabel Crespo Pardo (voice, compositions), Lester St. Louis (cello), & Henry Fraser (bass). Their affinity for melody, metaphor and abstraction draws them into familiar yet surprising environments, crackling with aliveness.

ABOUT BERGAMOT QUARTET Bergamot Quartet is fueled by a passion for exploring and advocating for the music of living composers, continually expanding the limits of the string quartet’s rich tradition in western classical music. With a priority given to music by women, they aim to place this new, genre-bending music in meaningful dialogue with the histories that precede it with creative programming, community-oriented audience building, and frequent commissioning.
