Studio Artist Spotlight: Rose

On Thursday, September 23, 5PM - 9PM, Le Mondo will be opening its doors for the free, neighborhood-wide Bromo Arts Walk.

As you explore our arts district, you can stop in, check out some art, and grab a drink at our bar. Six of our resident studio artists will be present and sharing their work in the space. You will also be able to contribute to "The Collection Center", an interactive installation in conjunction with the upcoming October edition of our In Plain Sight(site) performance series.

We're spotlighting some of our resident studio artists you'll see during the night.

Meet Rose

Based in Baltimore, Rose is an abstract bi-coastal artist with West Coast representation. She is currently working large scale, which has been a dream of hers, using acrylic on canvas as her medium. Rose has shown in two countries internationally and four cities nationally. She is currently working on a new collection with aims to show in LA next spring.

She grew up watching her mother, also a traveling artist, work in many mediums. She helped install shows, watched her mother experiment with different mediums and pack for long distant art trips all over Europe.

The artist creates her own work typically by collection. Each collection is individually influenced by color and mood, using texture to layer the two in a way that fully submerges each viewer into the work.
